Sick Sinus Syndrome
- Sinus node (pacemaker of the heart) impulses are not sent properly
- Bradycardia or tachycardia can occur intermittently.
- Can also be caused by scarring near the sinus node that is slowing, disrupting or blocking the travel of impulses.
