Aortic aneurysm repair surgery (AARS)

• This procedure is meant for patients who experience pain or have low blood flow due to aneurysm in the aorta or its branches, or obstruction/narrowing of the aorta.
• During the surgery, an incision is made in the middle of the abdomen.
• The damaged part of the aorta are removed and clipped.
• Then a prosthetic graft is sutured into place and the clips are removed.
