Pulmonary Atresia

• The opening between the pulmonary artery and the right ventricle is blocked.
• Can result in an enlarged heart, reduced blood vessel function in the lungs, and problems with the right ventricle.
• Usually linked with heart abnormalities such as tetralogy of Fallot.
