A surgical light, also known as operating light, is a device for illuminating a local area or a cavity of the patient during a surgical procedure to assist medical personnel.
Surgical Light System is a combination of several surgical lights.
Lighting a cath lab involves a general illumination, that is required for setting up the room preparing for the procedure, and cleaning. The flexible level of lighting is also critical for the staff performing the procedure.
Usually a Minor Surgery Lamp can be enough, which is accommodated by the significant structure in the ceiling above the procedure table.
But hybrid cath-lab as an operating room requires a much higher level of lighting.
