Ventricular Tachycardia

• Rapid, regular heart rate that originates with abnormal electrical signals in the ventricles. 
• The ventricles cannot fill and contract efficiently to pump enough blood to the body. 
• Often a medical emergency 
• May worsen into ventricular fibrillation without treatment
